At what time of day are sUAS operations permitted under standard Part 107 rules (without a waiver)?

Under 14 CFR § 107.29 (as amended), sUAS may operate during daytime, civil twilight (30 minutes before official sunrise through 30 minutes after official sunset), and at night. Both civil twilight and night operations require anti-collision lighting visible for at least 3 statute miles.
The trap →
The rule was updated in 2021 to allow night operations without a waiver. "Daytime only" reflects the pre-2021 rule. No additional equipment is required beyond the anti-collision light, no special certification or waiver for night.
